Desire started her career in the Mortgage Industry in 2002 where she was licensed as a Real Estate Agent and Loan Officer in California. After her husband finished 5 years in the Navy, stationed in San Diego, they moved back to Houston where she was a mortgage loan officer until her death in November of 2013. Desire was survived by her husband Doug Maradiaga, daughter Alyssa, parents Jessie and Armida Gonzales and hundreds of friends and family members. Desire was one of the smartest, best loan officers in our industry and was called upon by many professionals for her expertise and opinions on anything from upcoming law changes to underwriting guidelines. She was truly one of the best. Desire will always be a part of our family here at C&T Mortgage and we were lucky and blessed to have known and loved her for so many years.
