The journey began with two best friends, Carrie Panacek and Tami Channel, who shared a bond since they were 12 years old. Their paths in the mortgage industry started separately - Carrie stepping into the mortgage world in 2001, and Tami following a year later, shortly after her son, Blane, was born.

United by Passion and Vision: Their paths in the industry were inextricably linked; where one went, the other followed, creating a professional synergy that was both unique and unstoppable. In 2007, when the market was at its most challenging, and many doors were closing, Carrie and Tami made a bold move. They opened C&T Mortgage – a decision fueled by faith in themselves, each other, and a shared passion.

More Than a Business: C&T Mortgage was born not just out of a desire to excel in the mortgage industry but also from a need to be there for their families. Tired of long commutes and time away from their young children, they were encouraged by their supportive husbands to forge their own path. Starting humbly at Carrie’s dining room table with just two computers and a printer, C&T Mortgage has since flourished into a local mortgage company in Cypress, Texas that’s a beacon of success and integrity. The C&T Team, now boasting many talented and multi-lingual loan officers along with the best processing and closing departments around, has helped thousands of homeowners around Texas!
